Clothespin Dolls

Meet my little Winter Wonderland Clothespin Girls!
I've been wanting to try and make some clothespin dolls for years now and I gave it a try a year or two ago and I just couldn't make them... I didn't really know where to start or how to go about making them.. so I gave up..
But then I recently came across THIS BLOG  and she has an awesome tutorial on how to make clothespin dolls ( you will find it in the right column if you scroll down a bit) Hers are made with a pincushion but I used the parts about how to make the doll as a starting point .
And even though mine are a bit different I would have never been able to make them without that tutorial... It helped so much!! I'm so happy I finally got to make some!! I first fell in love with clothes pin dolls when I discovered Wee Cute Treasures around 2009. She doesn't make them anymore but you can look at her sold items from her Etsy shop and see how cute they are!! She really was my inspiration! There are several others that sell clothespin dolls /cake toppers on Etsy now, even wedding cake toppers which are super cute!! Check them out when you have time.. So many talented artists on Etsy! I love looking at everyone's creations!
I have several Fall and Christmas ones in the works! Can't wait to show you when they are done! I will be putting these and several other clothespin dolls in my Etsy shop in the next couple of weeks so check back soon if you are interested!
